Hi, I’m Sonia
I’m a wildlife artist from Berkshire, and after years of working in finance, I got to a point where I craved something different — something more creative, more flexible, and something I genuinely loved.
Art has always been my passion and outlet, and more recently, one of my favourite things to do with my children. I started running painting sessions for their friends during the holidays, experimenting with different techniques — and we kept coming back to neon.
Watching artwork come to life under UV glow lights is so exciting and unique… we just kept creating.
So when Michelle came to one of these and said we should be doing more of this, it just clicked — that’s where Paint It Neon started.
It’s about creating a space where people can switch off, have fun doing something completely different, and feel proud of what they’ve made — without any pressure.
Seeing people enjoy it together… that’s the best part!

I went to one of Sonia’s painting sessions for a friend and immediately thought… this is something special.
There was something about it — the atmosphere, how relaxed everyone became, how easy it was for the host, and how proud people were of what they created.
My background in business strategy has always been driven by a genuine passion for a product.
I remember leaving the party and thinking: Sonia’s talent and what she’d created was fantastic - more people need to experience this.
That’s where it really started for me.
I’ve always loved organising and planning events, so bringing that together with what Sonia had created just made sense.
Now we get to bring that experience into people’s homes or spaces, with their friends, families or teams — which is pretty amazing
